What is HGH?

Hgh, or Human Growth Hormone, is a hormone produced by the pituitary, the master gland of the endocrine system. It secretes a naturally occurring substance (somatotropin), which affects all systems in the body by encouraging them to function at their maximum capacity.

Human growth hormone is important for a number of reasons; it promotes growth in children and plays an important role in adult metabolism. Hgh was first isolated in 1956 and its structure was identified in 1972. Until the mid 1980's the only source or HGH was from pituitary glands harvested post-mortem. Today HGH is engineered genetically and available in much greater quantities.

There are also many forms of amino acids that stimulate HGH naturally. These amino acids act directly upon the pituitary gland, stimulating it to produce more of the body's own naturally occurring Human Growth Hormone.
